My research questions are:
1.What's making people homeless?
2.What are their lives like?
3.What can be done?
4.What makes us feel sorrow about homeless people?5. What could we do to prevent homelessness?
Optional Presentations: A short film or cartoon to show the topic.
A play to say it's talking about the topic in a acting position.
Key Ideas:85% of the overall homeless population was African-American.
23% of 2,265 shelter occupants were children.
Most of the street dwellers were men, and nearly half of them were between 45-60 years old.
Over 30% of the people in shelters were homeless with substance abuse and mental health problems.
Most people have become homeless because of unaffordable house bills and taxes.
Homeless people are mostly seen in public areas (front of dairies, supermarkets).
